Disney Cruise

Last week our family had the amazing opportunity to go on a Disney Cruise! We left at Port Canaveral, Florida, and sailed in the Bahamas. We had a great time. We  hung by the pool, went to Disney's private island, ate lots of food, :) and just relaxed. Here are some pictures of our trip.

The night before the cruise, when we were in Florida, we went to Medieval Times.  It is  a medieval tournament where there are knights jousting and sword fighting. They are doing all this while we are eating a medieval style meal(with our hands). :)

While we were at Castaway Cay, Dad and I got in the water with stingrays! (In case you were wondering, the water was NOT warm!) :) We got to feed them and swim with them. It was a really cool experience.

Every night we received a towel animal in our room. This was our favorite, a monkey. :)

Hawaii!

               Yea! We went to Hawaii! It was Emily and I's first time and it was GREAT! We stayed in Maui. Here are some pictures of our amazing trip.

The hotel pool with the ocean in the background. The pool had a water slide and we went down a ton of times! We are wearing REAL flower leis! Soo pretty!

Emily and I loved playing at the beach. This was my first time ever boogie boarding, and it was so much fun!!! Emily like playing in the sand.

We went to an aquarium one night for dinner. It was so cool! There was all kinds of different tropical fish surrounding us while we were eating.

                                                                                             

At the aquarium there was a scuba diver who dove in a shark tank and was able to talk to us and answer our questions. I'm glad I wasn't him!

Here we are with a plant called a silver sword. We are on top of a volcano. This is the only place in the WORLD where it grows, on top of this volcano. It lives for 50 years, only flowers once, and then it dies!

We are on a boat getting ready to go snorkeling with fish and then sea turtles! It was so cool, but a little scary getting into the water at first!

Emily and I after we had gotten "Feathers" in our hair. I had wanted one for a long time,  and Hawaii was an awesome place to get one!

We had such a good time in Hawaii, we can't wait to go back!

Oklahoma Trip Part 2

After the Reunion we went to my Nana and Papa's house. We had a great time there too!

Oklahoma Trip Part 1

We went to Oklahoma for the Barrett Family Reunion. Here are some pictures from our trip.

We loved playing in the pool, it was a great way to cool down in the 100+  degree heat!

We celebrated Hannah's second birthday with some cake!

Tahoe Trip

We recently went to Squaw Valley (near Lake Tahoe) for a few days. We had a great time! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

The view from our hotel room was very pretty!

We went up in a gondola VERY high.

The gondola took us to the summit which was 8200 feet. The Winter Olympics were held here in 1960. If you look closely, in the background, you can see Lake Tahoe.

There was an roller skating rink on the top of the mountain. Emily and I (ashley)  tried it out  but we did not have a good experience because we are used to inline skates and there was only roller skates! I fell down on the first step onto the rink and I bruised my tailbone :)

I am in the pool in the hotel surrounded by beautiful scenery. If you were wondering, the pools WERE  kinda heated but there was a spa so we went in there if we were cold.

We went on a pretty hike with mountains, forests and waterfalls!
